Belize is a ‘Curious Place’, a tropical haven, a popular tourist destination. It is well-known for its pristine beaches, verdant rainforests, authentic culture, culinary heritage, Cayes, and outdoor adventures. Visit this lively place to discover your inner explorer and naturalist.
As you land in the country you will be met with many things to experience, such as traditional Belizean food, popular snorkeling locations, caves worth exploring, scuba diving, Maya ruins, a number of Cayes, the world’s second-largest barrier reef, and we cannot forget the vibrant and friendly people.
Spend some time in Belize’s forests to truly embrace the island and culture. Visit well-known cayes such as Ambergris Caye and Caye Caulker. Explore the coastal towns of southern Belize, such as Palencia, Hopkins, and Drangriga. Don’t forget about San Ignacio, a popular mainland destination.
What good is a vacation in Belize if you haven’t visited the Maya Ruins? Travel to Tikal, the most spectacular and visited ruins in the country, or Caracol, made famous by Star Wars, for a less crowded experience with beautiful vistas atop the pyramids. There’s also the intriguing Xunantunich, which is considerably easier to get to from San Ignacio than the others.
You must go scuba diving in Belize. Swim alongside marine life. View the vibrantly colored corals. Scuba dive in one of Ambergris Caye’s or Caye Caulker’s many reefs. The Hol Chan, Mexico Rocks, and Turneffe Atoll are among the most beautiful. Half Moon Caye Wall and Long Caye Aquarium are two other popular diving spots.
Helicopter over The Great Blue Hole, Belize’s Barrier Reef, the world’s second-largest barrier reef and the country’s top tourist attraction. As another option, you can choose to scuba dive. Liveaboard cruises are typically the favored method to dive, with dive trips available all year long.
The only way to experience such wonderful adventures is to stay at one of Belize’s many luxury accommodations.
