Humble Beginnings

Growing up in the picturesque island of St. Lucia, Julien Alfred’s journey is a testament to the power of determination and hard work. St. Lucia, known for its stunning beaches and lush landscapes, is now also recognized for producing one of the most talented athletes in recent history.

From Local Hero to Olympic Medalist

St. Lucia had never seen an athlete quite like Julien Alfred. Her breakthrough moment came when she qualified for the Olympics, a dream that many aspire to but few achieve. Julien didn’t just participate; she excelled, clinching the gold medal at Paris Olympics 2024 in the Women’s 100m. Putting St. Lucia on the global sports map and becoming the first and only medal winner for the small island. Alfred would also win silver in the Women’s 200m.
