History fills this 16th-century property, complete with a river-view pool, fine-dining restaurant and colonial décor throughout its rooms, lobby and lounges. Tropical plants and flowers fill the courtyards that link the stone buildings.

This is beautiful hotel and restaurant just above the Santo Domingo colonial zone city-wall. I went for dinner and the food was of high quality and flavor and the wine selection and cocktails are on point. The most attractive part of the night was walking around the scene and through a very well preserved colonial environment. You can see some dungeons and wells from the time, and you get an amazing view of the port by the pool area. I recommended having dinner or maybe staying for a couple of days to fully enjoy the premises. – Google Reviews.

I had an awesome experience at Hodelpa Hotel. My room was pristine and all my questions were promptly answered. I will love to go back soon and enjoy the mojitos relaxing by the pool.
